Words of Inspiration and Motivation

Picture of Bill Clinton being sworn in as President
Quote of President William Clinton

The 42 President of the United States, stated, "In all the work I have done as president, every decision I have made, every executive action I have taken, every bill I have proposed and signed, I've tried to give all Americans the tools and conditions to build the future of our dreams, in a good society, with a strong economy, a cleaner environment, and a freer, safer, more prosperous world.
I have steered my course by our enduring values. Opportunity for all. Responsibility from all. A community of all Americans. I have sought to give America a new kind of government, smaller, more modern, more effective, full of ideas and policies appropriate to this new time, always putting people first, always focusing on the future...
I'm very grateful to be able to turn over the reins of leadership to a new president, with America in such a strong position to meet the challenges of the future." (Was Bill Clinton a good president?, 2001)
Jan. 18, 2001 - Bill Clinton, JD

Quote of Sylvia Chard

She stated, "Young children are inquisitive. They ask questions, wonder about things, and like to investigate interesting phenomena in their world."

Two Quotes about Passion, Motivation, and Wisdom

Raymond Hernandez stated that, “My passion comes from wanting to make a difference.”

Louise Derman-Sparks stated that, “I want to fix the injustices in through this world. I can do that through teaching.”

Personal Childhood Web

My mother is the one that has been by my side since day one. She made sure that I went to church, said prayers, school, completed homework, and stayed on the Principal and Superintendent list. There are three things that my mom always told me and they are:
“You can stay at home and be a dummy”
“I want you to go to school and make something out yourself
“I want you to be better than me”
She was a really big influenced when she went back to school and got her Bachelor’s and Master’s. It motivated to the point that I finish my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as well. Seeing my mother walk across the stage to get her Bachelor’s I was filled joy and happiness. She has taught and encouraged me to the best at whatever I do.

My Father has always been tough on me. He says that he is tough because he want me to depend on myself and not a man. My father has been a big influence on my life since I was a child. He has taught me everything about working in the house as well as in the yard. I know how to cook, wash, change tires, change oil, plant and hoe peas, corn, tomatoes and etc… all because of him. My father only made it to the 7th grade but he is a very bright and intelligent man. No matter what it took out of my father, he always made sure that we had food, shelter, and running water. Even though, he is disable to work, he still plants a little food to provide for his children and grandchildren. My father can be very mean and tough at times but I know that is way of showing me that he loves me.

This is my one and only sister and she is the oldest. But at times I feel like I am the oldest. Growing up was hard for us to get along because of the eight year age difference. After I turned sixteen, our relationship got better. My sister always supported me no matter what. She never judged me or tried to throw things in my way. She listened and let me experience some things on my own. There was a time that I felt like giving up but she encouraged me to keep going because I was at the door. She has always help take care of me since I was a baby. My sister made me feel special when she first came to me for advice. I was shocked but excited that my older sister needed my help. Ever since that day, our sisterly bond has tighter than ever before.

This is my baby brother. He has always given me a run for my money. Even though, I am two years older he still tells me what to do. Since we were small, I always went to him before I made any decision. He has helped me through college as far as helping with Math homework and financially. He has influenced me a lot. He has taught me how to manage by money and save it. I kind tell that he cares for me and he just want to see me succeed in life.

This here is my fiancĂ© and daughter. They are my backbone and everything I do, I do it for them.  My fiancĂ© and I have known each other since middle school. He has always been supportive in my moves since we were kids. He has been together for 8 years and we have had our ups and downs but he has always encouraged me no matter what. He has made a big impact on my life and has shown me how to love in spite of the situation. Our daughter is one year old and she is my motivation. Waking up and seeing her smiles motivate me to do my best so that I can continue to provide for her. My daughter is my influence for returning back to school. I want to be prepared when she is ready attend school. I want to be able to help in very way possible.
